On October 10th 2014 Chinas Prime Minister Li Keqiang together with more than 10 ministers has visited Berlin for German-Chinese government level consultations. Focus of the summit among others was a frame agreement on an innovation alliance between Germany and China. On the occasion of this event the German-Chinese Forum on Economic and Technological Cooperation took place, also attended by the German Chancellor and the Chinas Prime Minister. In several working groups German and Chines participants from policy and industry exchanged about the challenges in fields such as Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Medicine- and Biotechnology or Environmental Protection and Recycling Management and discussed possibilities to intensify the German – Chinese collaboration.

CTF Solar and CNBM both have participated in this forum as member of their respective national delegations. While Dr. Michael Harr, CEO of CTF Solar, had been invited to give a podium contribution in the working group on Renewable Energy, Sven Frauenstein, CTO of CTF Solar, had the opportunity to inform the auditors on CTF Solar´s project on the erection of a CdTe solar panel manufacturing line in China. Hua Zhenhua, Vice General Manager of CNBM Corporation, gave a podium speech in the working group on Environmental Protection and Recycling Management.
