CTF Solar’s General Manager Dr. Bastian Siepchen took part in the Saxon Hydrogen Mission to Australia from 31st August to 4th September, 2026. The mission was led by Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) and Saxony Trade & Invest (WFS), in cooperation with HZwo e.V. and with the support of the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Australia), as part of the Programme for the Internationalisation of Regions in Structural Change (ISW). It aimed to explore new business opportunities and build a deeper understanding of the Australian hydrogen market.

Over one week, the delegation visited companies and research institutions in Melbourne and Adelaide, including CSIRO, the Toyota Hydrogen Centre and the Deakin Hydrogen Hub. Dr. Siepchen presented CTF Solar and its technology at several networking events and met with potential business partners.

The trip offered valuable insight into Australia’s growing hydrogen market, pointing to opportunities in green energy, long-duration energy storage and the production of low-carbon materials.

Our thanks go to all hosts, partners and participants for the engaging discussions, valuable insights and excellent networking opportunities.
