As it had last year, in 2015 CTF Solar once again presented its services at the Intersolar trade fair, at a stand shared with affiliated companies CTIEC, Avancis and Jetion. The stand was more than twice the size of last year’s, reflecting the increased interest in the Group’s products and services. With their successes in the construction of solar power plants over the last 12 months, CTF Solar and the CTIEC Group have established themselves in Europe as major turnkey suppliers of solar power plants.

The stand included 5 meeting rooms and a generous foyer area, of which good use was made for building contact with project developers, suppliers, service providers and investors.

This year, for the first time, the boards of both CTIEC and its parent company CNBM, headed by their respective chairmen Peng Shouand Song Zhiping, attended the fair.

CNBM chairman Song Zhiping explained that the boards of CNBM and CTIEC had come to Munich not only for insights into the latest developments at their German subsidiaries, but also as a sign of the importance of solar energy to the Group’s overall strategic orientation.

CTF Solar CEO Dr. Michael Harr and Sales Manager Karl-Heinz Fischer explained to Prof. Song, Prof. Peng and Prof. Wang (the director of CTIEC’s New Energy Department) CTF Solar’s plans for the expansion of its product and service portfolio for solar power plants, and reported on the company’s progress in relation to CNBM’s planned CdTe thin-film solar panel factory in Chengdu, China.

With its attractive appearance and low production costs, the CdTe thin-film solar panel designed by CTF Solar for the solar module factory in Chengdu generated a great deal of interest from visitors to the stand.
